Illinois allows "Direct Access" for physical therapy, meaning you can start evaluation without a referral. However, for ongoing treatment of neurological conditions, a referral from your neurologist or primary care doctor is helpful for insurance authorization. We can assist you with this process.
Standard PT often focuses on orthopedic injuries (sprains, knee replacements). Our "Neurological PT" focuses on the connection between the brain and the body. We work on neuroplasticity—rewiring the brain to improve movement, balance, and coordination after injury or disease diagnosis.
