Even with a healthy diet of fruits and vegetables, you may be impacted by factors out of your control, such as the quality of the soil the fruits and vegetables are grown in. So even if you are getting enough calories, it may be a challenge to get enough vitamins from food alone. This is where vitamin infusion Chicago comes in. IV therapy delivers micronutrients directly to your cells, right where you need it most. The nutrients bypass the gastrointestinal system and are therefore absorbed 100% and fully utilized by your body.
IV vitamin therapy is the future of wellness.
There are many benefits of IV vitamin Therapy, including:
Some of IV vitamin therapy most common ailments include:
Moreover, vitamin capsules or pills taken by mouth are considered to be dietary supplements by the FDA and are not closely regulated. Because of this, it’s difficult to determine the quality of any vitamin supplement you may be taking. In a study investigating the safety of dietary supplements, researchers found that only 21% of the supplements tested by several major retailers contained the ingredients they claimed to contain on their packaging. This is why many people are turning to wellness infusion therapy as a more reliable alternative for ensuring they receive the nutrients they need.
With an IV, 100% of the nutrients are absorbed into the bloodstream, where they can immediately be used by your body.
At RevIVeDoc infusion suite, we value quality and only source our IV vitamins from pharmacies approved by the FDA.
The temporary discomfort from placing the IV in is far outweighed by the benefits you’ll see with IV nutrient therapy. We have a trained registered nurse (RN) or medical professional administering the IV. A numbing spray is also available.
As with any medical treatment, you always face the possibly of side effects. However, hyperbaric therapy is non-invasive and probably the safest procedure in medicine, so complications are very rare.
The most common reported side effect isotic/sinus barotrauma. (This condition is the reason we always make sure our patients don’t have any sinus or ear infections prior to entering the chamber.)Other risks include pulmonary barotrauma, which is the most rare, and oxygen-related seizures, which only happen at a very high pressure rarely used for medical indications. A risk of myopia may also occur, usually in the older population and only after multiple treatments. Myopia is almost always reversible.
In the context of wellness infusion therapy, it’s important to be aware of these potential side effects to ensure a safe and positive experience.
