What Is Spravato®?
Spravato (esketamine) is an FDA-approved nasal spray for treatment-resistant depression (TRD) in adults and for depressive symptoms with acute suicidal ideation or behavior (in conjunction with an oral antidepressant). Unlike traditional antidepressants that can take weeks, Spravato acts on the glutamate system and may provide relief more rapidly.

What to Expect During Spravato Treatment

Your First Session (About 2–2.5 Hours in Clinic)
You self-administer Spravato under clinician supervision in a calm, private suite. We monitor your vitals and comfort throughout.
Structured Treatment Schedule
Typical protocol: twice weekly for 4 weeks, then once weekly for 4 weeks, followed by individualized maintenance. You’ll continue your prescribed oral antidepressant.
Recovery & Ride Home
Mild, temporary effects (e.g., dissociation, dizziness, blood pressure changes) can occur. You’ll rest onsite until cleared to leave. You’ll need a ride home and should avoid driving until the next day.
